Gemini is run by Gemma and Ross, two musicians with over 20 years of professional experience each and more than a decade working together. That history shows. Whether they're performing as a duo or anchoring an 8-piece band, there's a shorthand and a trust between them that comes from years of shared experience on stage.

Gemini didn't start as a grand plan. When COVID hit and the live music scene was turned on its head, they looked at the landscape and decided the only way forward was to build something new. It started as a trio, and the quality was there from day one. What grew from that wasn't just a bigger band. It was a different way of thinking about what a function band could be.

There's no shortage of function bands in Perth. What's harder to find is one that can scale from a duo to a full 8-piece without the quality dropping, without strangers on stage, and without a setlist that sounds like everyone else's. Gemini was built to fill that gap. Every lineup uses the same core musicians, chosen for their talent, their energy, and their attitude. No egos, no thrown-together lineups. The same people performing together consistently — and one of the most diverse repertoires of any function band in Perth to match.

Gemini has performed at corporate events, weddings, festivals, and private functions across Perth, interstate, and internationally, including three consecutive New Year's Eve performances at The Mulia Hotels in Bali and Jakarta.
